Do I need to return my chair to the store if it is affected by the voluntary recall?

No. Chairs affected by this recall will not be accepted in stores nor do we ask that you mail the chair back to us. You may receive your replacement chair by following the instructions on our Chair Replacement Form page or emailing [email protected] or calling 1-877-4-SKIPHOP from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET.

How do I know if my high chair is affected by the voluntary recall?

Consumers who purchased our Tuo Convertible High Chair between December 2016 and September 2017 are potentially affected by this recall. The recall applies to the following product:

  • Tuo Convertible High Chair, Grey, model #304200,
  • with Date Codes: HH102016, HH112516, HH031317, HH033017, HH042817 (on cartons as shown below)

Which models and products are affected by the recall?

This recall involves specific production dates of Tuo Convertible High Chair, purchased between December 2016 and September 2017. The recall applies to the following:

  • Tuo Convertible High Chair, Grey, model #304200,
  • with Date Codes: HH102016, HH112516, HH031317, HH033017, HH042817 (on cartons as shown below)
"Gray clouds" (style 304201) is not included in this recall
 

Why is Skip Hop conducting the voluntary recall?

Skip Hop’s operations are guided by a deep-seated commitment to the quality of our products. As part of our continuous improvement efforts, we recently identified a potential safety risk as the leg or legs may become detached from the seat.

How long will it take to get my replacement chair?

You should receive the replacement in approximately 1-2 weeks.

How many products are affected by this issue?

This recall impacts approximately 10,000 units in the United States and Canada. Additional units were also sold in Australia and Mexico:

  • US (includes Puerto Rico): 7,900
  • Canada: 2,100

Can I continue using my chair if I haven’t experienced any issues?

Skip Hop is encouraging consumers who purchased this product to immediately stop using the product until they receive their free replacement. You can return your replacement chair free of charge here, emailing [email protected] or calling 1-877-4-SKIPHOP from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET.

Am I still eligible for a replacement chair if I no longer have the receipt for the product?

Yes. Consumers who purchased this product between December 2016 and September 2017 can receive a replacement chair by following the instructions on our High Chair Replacement Form. We ask you to include an uploaded photo of your chair to receive your replacement.
